Discovery Cycle Evenings

These regular events capture the essence of what EnlightenNext is all about – exploring the depths of Being in meditation, and then inquiring collectively into the very leading-edge of Becoming and culture with a discussion or a thought-provoking article from EnlightenNext magazine.

Linking the two together IS the Discovery Cycle: how our individual conscious development directly effects culture, and vice versa.

Meditation

The evening begins with a guided meditation, during which participants become conscious of a current of stillness deeper than the awareness of the body and the movement of the mind, an open dimension of limitless freedom.  You are invited whether you are new to meditation or new to meditating in the context of Evolutionary Enlightenment.

Developmental Discussion

The second part of the evening features a discussion often structured around an article from EnlightenNext magazine (formerly What Is Enlightenment?). EnlightenNext is the premier publication for anyone interested in transforming human consciousness and culture. It brings you the leading voices of our time--from

business and politics to spirituality and science--plus insightful and controversial commentary from today’s most talented and engaging writers.

These Salon discussions are forums for high-level inquiry and focused exploration of the topics covered in EnlightenNext magazine’s articles and interviews; recent audios from a talk from Andrew Cohen; or audio excerpts of interviews for the magazine, etc.  They provide an opportunity to come together with others and engage directly with these cutting-edge ideas.

Copies of articles will be provided and the new issue will be on sale.
