Ron Friedman is cofounder, with his wife Victoria, of Vistar Foundation, an educational nonprofit organization dedicated to exploring and teaching the power and potential of collective consciousness. Key influences of Vistar include Gurdjieff, Steiner, Ouspensky, Kenneth G Mills, and Charles Ahart. Victoria Friedman cofounded Vistar Foundation with husband Ron Friedman in 1994. Born in Uganda, East Africa, to Jewish parents surviving the Holocaust, she grew up speaking Swahili. She moved to America at age eight and went on to major in Fine Arts.
