Helena Løvendal-Sørensen is the cofounder of The Centre for Gender Psychology, where she trains and supervises psychotherapists and couples counselors in the UK, Europe, and Scandinavia. A native of Denmark, her background includes work with children, the elderly, and the disabled, and as a social worker with families and children in London. She has been influenced by the post-Jungians, object relations, psychosynthesis, systems theory, process work, kundalini yoga, and shamanism.
Helena is the current president of the Association of Sexual Grounding Therapists and Trainers. In 2002, Løvendal-Sørensen coauthored the book Sex, Love and the Dangers of Intimacy: A Guide to Passionate Relationships When the “Honeymoon” is Over with her partner, Nick Duffell.
